Fitbit has added two new fitness trackers to its wearable collection, but it's been very hush hush about it all. Why? Probably because you can't just go out and buy one like you would a Charge 3 or an Alta HR.
That's because the new Fitbit Inspire and Inspire HR trackers are only available exclusively through Fitbit corporate, wellness, health plan and health system partners, according to Fitbit's Health Solutions website. So these are trackers that could be dished out to employees enrolled in a corporate wellness program, for instance.

The Health Solutions site does outline what those members, partners and organizations can expect from the pair of Inspire trackers, which appear to sit in between the Charge 3 and the Alta HR.
First up is the Inspire (pictured above), which features a swimproof design and a touchscreen display. It'll track activity and sleep, tell you about the calories you've burned and includes motivational features like move reminders and goal celebrations. It also has notification support for call, texts and calendar alerts and offers up to 5 days of battery life.
The Inspire HR (as you might have already worked out), does all that the Inspire does but also includes a heart rate monitor, which unlocks the ability to monitor heart rate continuously and use the sensor for heart rate zone-based training. It also has 15+ goal-based exercise modes like you get on the Charge 3, cardio fitness level data and connected GPS to piggyback off your phone's GPS to view real-time pace and distance data.
As mentioned already, you can't head out to the shops or drop these in your online basket in Fitbit's store. That means there's no details on pricing and you'll need to get in contact with the wearable maker to find out more info about getting hold of one.
Will we see new Fitbit fitness trackers for everyone in 2019? The Alta HR is probably due an update as is the Flex 2 while the Charge 3 only launched at the end of 2018. Here's hoping we'll have new devices for all before the year is out.
